Hi,can some one please tell me to catch the local buses in Noumea not the hop on hop off, do they take Australian dollar

Bus 10 or 11 follows the beach route. Pick it up at Place des Cocotieres (Spelling!) - Coconut Square. Near the Tourist Information Centre I think. About Pacific Francs 200 - roughly $3.00 Australian. Only take Pacific Francs.

An ATM is located in the Casino (supermarket) just across the street from the cruise terminal/visitor info. We obtained our local currency there.
