Oceania bike tours?

For those who have taken Oceania bike tours - have you enjoyed them? Do they provide good bikes sized for each rider?

I am particularly interested on comments on the bike excursions for ports on our upcoming cruise from Lisbon to Barcelona.

Thanks.

Lynn

We have taken at least 3 bike tours with Oceania.

  1. Around the medieval village of Tarqinia (near Rome) on a Mediterra
  2. Fort Stevens (Astoria, Oregon) - Alaska Tour
  3. Palma de Mallorca (Spain)
  4. (We've also done a couple of bikes tours on various river cruises)

We enjoyed each of these rides - and would have no hesitation in doing another if the opportunity arose.

In each case, the tour was run by local operators who were knowledgable and interesting. There was always a range of bikes - including male & female - and the guides spent time ensuring the seat height was appropriate for the rider.

The rides have always been a relaxed pace, on terrain that avoided steep hills, and with lots of stops along the way.
