Car rental near NOLA cruise port

Hi all, planning on arriving in NOLA few days before our cruise in February and thinking about renting a car at the airport. Are there any companies that have a rental return near the port?

Avis and Budget are in the Hilton Riverside. Hertz has a location next to the Fulton Garage (on the other side of the convention center from the port). Dont be surprised if there are drop off fees involved for any of these locations.

Now that I am seeing the locations, the Hertz location is close to our hotel, so thinking of taking a Taxi/Uber from the airport since we are arriving late, then walking to Hertz the next day to pick up a car. Thus I will save on the pricey parking fees at the hotel for at least a day along with a day of rental. We might even wait to rent a car until we are ready to go out of the city for sightseeing. Thanks for the info.
