Just wondering about the altitude riding a bike.

This from the website of a company offering the tours. No exact mention of altitude problems, but:

"Rider Requirements: No complete beginners – all riders need to know how to ride a bike. Closed toed shoes and eye protection (sunglasses) are required. No pregnant women or riders with heart or respiratory problems are allowed on the tour."

Altitude is not an issue for Kilauea. As volcanoes go, it's fairly low.

I haven't done a ship's excursion bike trip there, but I did one a few years ago with the primary biking vendor on the BI while on a land trip, and it was around the crater rim, which is a pretty flat route. However, much of that trail is now closed due to issues with air quality from the current eruptions. So, if the excursion is still going, it's not clear what route it will follow.

Yes! We did this and had a ball. We are not pro bikers ... beach cruiser types. We had no problems with terrains or speed.
