The last time we were there we swam with the dolphins. It would be for the one day we are in port. No snorkeling but relaxation with some water sports (paddle board, zip line, etc). All inclusive would be great.

Mr. Sanchos sounds like the place for you - AI (food/drinks) for about $50 per adult. Water toys, etc. for an extra fee. Nice beach, multiple pools, etc. Taxi for up to 4 passengers will be about $17 each way.

Enjoy!

Any pay as you go suggestions? My wife and I are looking for a little beach time but not a whole day so AI seems like a waste of cash. This time out is all about relaxation so we aren't booking any excursions and just want to enjoy some beach time in Mexico.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Paradise Beach is a popular, large pay as you go beach club with great facilities and a HUGE pool. $3 admission/chair rental, water toys for extra fees, plus good food/drinks/service. Taxi each way will run about $17 each way for up to 4 passengers in the cab.

Closer to the port is the Money Bar - no beach, but great snorkeling from the shore. Good facilities, food & drinks and no admission fee. Taxi each way will be about $10.

Check trip advisor reviews for both. Enjoy!

In multiple visits to Coz we have never used a cruise line tour -- Coz is easy to do on your own, especially if you want to hit the beach.

What are you looking for? All-inclusive or pay as you go? Water toys? Quiet/relaxing or lively/party atmosphere? Adults or travelling with kids?

Check out Paradise Beach, Playa Mia, Mr. Sanchos, Nachi Cocom and Money Bar.

Taxis are easy, well regulated, and the fares will be posted on a board near the cab line for your pier.

We have been to Cozumel a dozen times and have never done a ship tour. Taxis are easy to get and serve, food and drinks have been good at the 6 or 7 beach clubs that we have visited.

I would like to add Playa Palancar to John's list. If there are 6 or 7 ships in port Palancar will be less crowded than the closer clubs.
