Delta Sky Clubs at LAX

We will be going through LAX next March on our way to Australia (from Georgia). We have a nine hour layover at LAX. I have read that Delta by then will have two Sky Clubs, at terminals 2 and 3. The one at three will be new.

Has anyone used the Sky Club at LAX. Any comments on the club, its facilities and level of comfort.

Given that DL moved into the T2/3 complex only a few weeks ago, I haven't been through to check out the new digs. The big thing is that any info provided now will be hopelessly out of date for a flight NINE months from now.

Also, with that much time between flights, I'd be leaving the airport. Maybe over to an airport hotel to use the pool, grab a shower and change of clothes and maybe a nap to adjust to Aussie time. Or rent a car and head to a beach area for a nice lunch or some sightseeing.

In any case, you are WAY too early to be worried about what to do in that period.

You are correct, it is way to early. I thought about looking for a hotel to take a nap. I did not see a hotel in the airport like some airports. Any recommendations for a hotel near the airport?

I have stayed at the Marriott LAX Hotel and can recommend it. A very nice pool area and a variety of restaurants are available. There was a complimentary shuttle to/from LAX.
