Sun in the Southern Hemisphere

This question is for a South American cruise, but I figured if anyone would know the answer, it would be this group.

We have a forward suite on a Santiago to Buenos Aires. I know the sun will still rise east and set west. But, will it be in a more northern position mid day, instead of southern as in the northern hemisphere? Our cabin is front port side.

Yes. Exactly the opposite of how it is in the northern hemisphere.

Things may have changed as of last night. NCL may be decommissioning the Sun and replacing her with the Jewel. So at best, I'll have to find a new cabin...or at worst a new ship....if NCL scraps their South America cruises.
