I am really disliking this new AS dock - blocks the two docks behind from our viewing pleasure.:mad:

 

And just think, we have the whole season yet to go...

 

It's still better than no sail-ins at all - like two summers ago.:(

I don't understand why they are having issues with the bollards. Two larger ships have docked at the AS and CT docks and not had a problem.:confused:

 

The linemen felt that the bollard we wanted for our stern line belonged to Volendam. it took the port agent to walk to the stern to convince them otherwise. Longshoremen are a different breed........:confused:

Very well but I'd love to still be at sea.

 

 

I could swear I've seen 2 ships run lines to the same bollard before. Never thought they belonged exclusively to a single ship.

The prob re: putting lines from 2 ships one one bollard comes in at departure time and depends on who leaves first. prob #2 has to do with linehandlers thinking they decide where the lines go The ship has a docking plan it wants to follow
