Hi All

we are considering booking the transatlantic crossing from Barbados to Southampton in March 17

Both the Azura and Britannia are doing this cruise.Any advise on what ship would give us more to do in the daytime bearing in mind the high amount of sea days.

Thanks

Both of these ships are going to have a lot of entertainment going on Britannia possibly a little wider selection. In my book I should look at a Friday instead of a Saturday departure if this is available and definately go with a Balcony and compare prices on that basis.

regards John

With so many sea days I would want a good balcony in case there are no sunbeds, in which case all Azura's balconies are bigger than Britannia's, and if you can book a C deck balcony on Azura then so much the better since they are double the depth of the normal ones, about 3 times bigger than Britannia's.

Agree with terrierjohn. I'd do a C deck(or aft balcony cabin on Azura. She's our fave ship on any line. Actually if any of the corner afts are available on B or C deck I'd take that. The balconies are huge, it's a really quiet location and the views are A-MAZ-ING. Azura's a lovely ship

Thanks

was thinking Azura would be better choice,we loved Arcadia and thought it would be more similar than Britannia in atmosphere and size

I would say that Azura and Britannia are close in feel Arcadia different. I like all three and the fact that they are not all the same is an attraction.

Azura would be my choice simply because Britannia does not have a traditional promenade deck. Although we enjoyed our cruise on Britannia and thought it was a super ship the lack of a traditional promenade deck was really missed by me and my husband.
