Thanks for the hopeful better cast CruisinHarvey! Yes this will be my big 30 along with the big 10 in marital bliss. LOL does it say anything that my cruises outnumber my wedding anniversaries ;)

All packing done!

Here is a shot of the camera's I will be bringing:

Sony nex7 and a go pro hero 3

A Lot less lenses than my usual trips as I take a lot more now with my Iphone to upload directly on tapatalk.

I know there will be some shot I will want and need my zoom for but we already overpacked so cutting down on the luggage this trip.

Also shown is my good luck royal caribbean key chain won several years ago at a putt putt golf tourney. I think on the freedom. I will let you know if it brings me luck in the Casino!

One thing I like to do is look at different room and try and keep pictures and notes of likes and dislikes regarding each room so we know in the future whether to book a certain category room or if the current price is worth what we feel about the room.

On our last BA cruise we were in an H7 forward facing penthouse 9706 shown in the blurry pics attached lol sorry, I may have been drinking by the time I snapped these lol:

Some like for this room were it was large, nice living area with separate area for table fir 4 to eat and sit comfortably. The bedroom was separate and was larger right up against the forward bulkhead with a porthole looking forward. The bathroom was very spacious and we felt the best one we ever experienced on a cruise-ship.

Some dislikes were the extremely tiny balcony, location, all the way forward, and out front was the crew area and you could hear them well into the night after their shifts. Not their fault just noting it.

Also we hit a bad storm in the Bahamas run and that location on the ship you heard and felt every wave all the time. Like the old adage if motion bothers you steer clear of the ends of the ships especially the cabin location.

Compared to that cabin we are booked this trip in an H5 courtyard penthouse on deck 16 whose layout seems much smaller but will be fine for us, but seems like the size of a balcony stateroom on most ships, so we shall see and I will post hopefully less blurry pics and impression starting tomorrow:
