Request for Family Suite guests - 01 May 16

I'm wondering if there are guests on Cruise Critic who are booked in a Family Suite on deck 2 of the Vista on one of the first sailings.

Could you report back how the noise level is in those cabins? We have one booked for April '17 and everything about the suite is attractive to us except the location under the galley.

While we all wonder how come Carnival built some of their most expensive cabins under the galley, I really want to know whether there will indeed be noise hindrance so we can switch to an OS instead.

I would also appreciate a review from the Family Suites as well. We have booked one in December and are wondering the same thing. ;)

We've booked a familie suite the 24th of May. Will report, but a little later.

We loved everything about the Family Harbor Suite but could not take the chance of noise being directly under the galley. We opted for the Family Harbor Deluxe OV which puts us under the dining room.

I'm a little curious about this myself, and I'm sure there'll be plenty of reviews about it once she begins sailing. I'm booked in a Family Harbor Deluxe OV, but it's under the MDR and not the galley so I'm expecting the potential noise issue to be somewhat muted, so to speak.

We are booked on deck 2 for jan 2017. I was assured by a carnival vacation specialist that they were aware of the noise problem and they have designed this ship in such a way so as to avoid galley noise. He reassured me even though he knew I wasn't booking through him directly.
