Carnival Triumph/Victory cabin 6451/6459/6424/6432

Our travel agent assured us these balconies were larger because of the layout of the room. Has anyone ever sailed in one of these cabins and could you share photos of the room as well as the balcony?

This is a picture of our room 6459 on the Victory. We loved this room, it had plenty of room to move around in. There was a small loveseat sofa, a queen bed, two large windows and the glass balcony door. Lots of light when you wanted it. There were two air conditioning vents that you can adjust to cool the room down. The balcony was approximately 23 feet long and 3 feet wide. You can peer over the divider and see the back of the ship and the wake as she sails away.

We had 6432 on the Victory in October and LOVED it! The balcony is about twice the size of a normal 8A - the same size as a suite. In my opinion these cabins are one of the best bargains on the ship!

Those rooms are awesome! I tried to see if they were still available on the carnival website for my sailing (1/9/2010) but I can't seem to find a screen where I can put in the exact room number I want. :(

We had 6424 on our last cruise on the triumph, we would definitly book this

cabin again. Loved the layout, the location and the balcony.

I was wondering about the stairs. Are they for crew or do guests use these also? i.e. to go up deck 7 to from 6. Wondering if this might be a short cut instead of walking to the stairs by the elevator.

The stairs are only used for the muster drill and by staff. they are locked otherwise.

These are the L shaped rooms. They are best imho I try to get them for every cruise I book now.
