Does anyone know of a good place to eat Seafood in Galveston?

Hi all,

I am on the LOS and will be spending the night before my cruise in Galveston. I am looking for a good place for seafood especially shrimp.

any suggestions?

Thanks Texas Tillie, I looked over their menu and I am getting hungry just think thinking about their shrimp. :)

Can't go wrong with Gaido's. They're a Galveston tradition for nearly 50 years.

We can't go to Galveston without having lunch or dinner at the Black Pearl, it's always on point. Another favorite is Cajun Greek. We arrived there once for an early lunch having skipped breakfast and they were bringing fresh catch in the door. Always excellent!

The Saltwater is good. But during the peak of Summer. It is very hot ,cramped and loud.

It is real busy at Happy hour on Friday nights , artwalk and when large parties and especially when performances are at 1894 Opera House across the street.
