Meeting Place for Private Excursions on Royal Princess

I am putting together some private excursions for roll call members on a Royal Princess cruise. What is a good meeting place on the ship so the group can disembark together?

We just met on shore, it was never a problem finding our group.

The piazza is nice, but it does get crowded.

Just hope everyone in your group is punctual. :)

Club 6 or the Piazza.

We are sailing soon on a 28 day cruise on Emerald Princess. We have a conference room for our use on deck 6 forward - starboard side near the theater. We can have meetings, play games, etc. in that conference room. One of the people on our roll call set it up with Princess. We are supposed to have access to that conference room for the duration of the cruise. I don't know how it was done but it can be done. (We will not be posting anything regarding private excursions in the conference room nor will anybody discuss anything of the sort when cruise staff is around.

One thing I can tell you for sure though... Do not discuss or collect money for a private excursion at your meet and greet. Princess staff can be very unhappy with folks who do that.

What is Club 6? What deck is it on & is it the same deck that you disembark from? I assume its someplace that can easily be located even by those who have never been on the ship before?

Deck 6, port side between the Piazza area and the theater, next to the casino.. Check the Royal's deck plans.

Club 6 It is on Deck 6. You usually get off the ship on Deck 4 midship.

My opinion is that unless you are meeting right at the time the gangway is being opened I think you would be better meeting somewhere just off the Piazza on Deck 5 like at Vines (which is a wine bar so not open in the morning). Across Piazza from International Cafe so good place to wait. This only leaves you a short walk across the Piazza and one flight down

We were on the Royal in the spring and met several times in vines. Since it is close to the IC, you can grab a cup of coffee while waiting to get off.

Club 6 is the lounge/bar on deck 6 midship, operating only in the evening, but doors open at daytime where people meet and congregate. It is just by the stairs from Piazza deck 5, and beside the casino

We find Vines to be very convenient

Meeting in the Casino also works since it is closed when in port
