My travel agent very kindly surprised me with a free dinner at a specialty restaurant for my upcoming cruise on the Allure! The reservation has to be made once I am onboard - it cannot be made in advance. How do I do this? Once onboard, is there a phone number I call? a central location where you make all dining reservations? or do I go to the specific restaurant I am interested in? Thanks for any info!

You can go to any specialty restaurant, but I'd go to the one in which you would like to dine.

Hi Cruiser: Just as Bob said you can go to specialty Restaurant or can call. Don't know what setup with Agent you have but many send you the Royal Caribbean paper voucher form that can only BE USED ON PORT DAYS. Read your voucher and make sure you advise them of voucher. They have list of FNDR & also 2 for one on first two nights also in addition to voucher s. Bob The Villages , Florida

Hi Bob,

Yes, the voucher says it's only good for Port Days. So here is another question: is Embarkation Day considered a Port Day? I was thinking I would like to use it the day we board.

Seems to me embarkation day would be considered a port day for the purposes of your voucher. Additionally, they seem to be more likely to give discounts on specialty restaurants on day 1, so I would think they would honor your voucher also. You will only know for sure when you are onboard and ask.

We are sailing on Allure in January and we are supposed to get the free dinner also. Was your coupon mailed to you? Emailed? How long before the cruise? I haven't ever had one of these coupons previously and I thought it would be in the cabin when we boarded, but it seems as though it might be given to us before then. Thanks.

Hi Karen. I think the first night would be fine. Funny thing i just got a SAVOR THE POSSIBILITIES comp dinner and a spa visit in e mail and hour ago. This one is not restricted like our others have been but still don't allow reservations on line and good any night but have to be made the first day on board. The new ones were printed on April 26,17. Bob & Nancy

Hi Cruiser. Saw your question and this may help. We got and E mail this morning on the Dinner & Spa visit for our Sept 24th Oasis. Got three like this last year and all came around 35 days out. It will be from your agent but will be a full page certificate from Royal. We always get our's in and E mail just like our booking papers etc. Bob & Nancy The Villages Florida

It was e-mailed to me about 3 weeks before the cruise.
