Inside Cabin question

First time Disney cruise....I'm looking at the Disney Magic and they have 10B and 10C categories. In some cases the cabins are next to each other and they appear to have the same description yet the 10c costs a bit more. Can someone tell me what, if any difference there is between these two categories.

There is absolutely NO difference. When the Magic and Wonder launched, the categories were numbers only. A cat 10 was a cat 10, regardless of location.

When the Dream launched, they came up with the A-E stuff as a way to charge more for some cabins based on location or special features. To keep things consistent and allow them to charge more for cabins designated at mid-ship, they applied the A-C to cabins on the Magic and Wonder. They also eliminated the cat 12 and called it an 11C.

Bottom line--on classic ships a 10 is a 10. A, B, and C indicate location only.

The only exceptions are those cabins which we call "secret portholes" or "restricted view balconies." These sell as a lower category than their features. None of these are inside cabins. However, you might look at whether any of the "secret portholes" are available on your dates. These are cabins with a partially obstructed view, so they are charged as a cat 10. THese are the cabin numbers for the secret portholes: #5520, #5522, #5524, #5020, #5022, #5024
