I do think that flying a drone over the QM2 or any other Ship or building is illegal unless the drone operator got permission from the authorities such as the local police and or the QM2's owners the Cunard Line. Regards,Jerry

I don't think it CGI. If it was CGI it would look animated like a animated cartoon at a movie theater or on TV. It looks too realistic to be a CGI. Such as flying a camera attached to a drone flying over the QM2. Regards,Jerry Edited August 28, 2016 by Cruise Liner Fan

Very nice video, but it troubles me to think what "bad guys" could do with a drone flying that close to the ship.

It is 100 percent real..the video is running a little fast .. The images are far to sharp and clear. Near the end we have passengers on board looking right at the drone...Does remind me of the scene in the Titanic movie where there is a flyover of the ship...and QM2 is one beautiful ship!!

Very cool! The same day I disembarked the ship. It was a gorgeous but hot day in NYC.

Wow! We disembarked that day after a TA both ways . What a great ship and nice video of all sides.

Amazing footage. Just wondering where QM2 berths in NY we were there in 2004,has she moved terminals?

Initially QM2 docked in Manhattan but now she normally docks in Brooklyn just next to Governors Island. If a Princess ship is in New York on the same day QM2 might move back to Manhattan.

I see that this video is "no longer available" on youtube. I wonder if Cunard made them take it down???
