Weather and Seas - end of Oct.

Considering setting up a group crusie to Mexican Riviera end of October '18.

Any thoughts on weather and sea conditions that time of year? My wife and I did one MR cruise years ago at the beginning of Oct and the weather was nice but the seas were really rough. Hoping that a larger ship will make a difference too (160K tons vrs 95K tons years ago)

Could be anything from calm to bumpy. The sea conditions depend not only what's in the immediate area but also what's up the coast towards Alaska.

If it's very windy, a larger ship could actually be worse. More area for the wind to push.

Yes, but since I got no response and that was somewhat off topic from the main thread I decided to start a fresh one

Thats and interesting thought. I was thinking about waves and totally forgot about the wind
