Club benefits

Having read previous threads I think i am correct. As relative newbies we move up to the number of days required for silver during our upcoming cruise so:

Silver benefits will kick in on the cruise after this one?

We are each entitled to one benefit so he can choose the laundry and I can choose the massage😇?

 

And when we eventually get to gold again we get 2 each which can be different?

If you select the shore excursion discount as your club benefit, I believe both members need to make the same selection. We turned Silver after the first segment of a recent b2b and were told that if we wanted the shorex benefit, both of us had to do it.

Not so. Only one person needs to choose the excursion discount and it applies to both. The other person can choose any other benefit, such as the laundry bag.

I can understand the wine discount being shared (can you imagine the sommelier standing there with his calculator) now - you drank 3/5 of this wine with your 10% discount that makes your share ... lol :D, but I'm suprised that the excursion discount applies to both - that is good news.

Agree marazul. We have done this on many sailings. One would choose excursion discount and laundry bag while the other chose wine discount and internet package. MightyQuinn I am sorry someone on board gave you the wrong information.:(

We don't generally do ship's tours. Any chance they will let us have 50% off revenue wines instead???

Quite true that only one person has to select the shore excursion discount and the other cabin mate will also be included. This was my experience on our last cruise.
