A Few Questions - Oceania Newbie

Hi All!

We are narrowing down our port & dining options for our upcoming cruise on Riviera this Feb. Hoping someone can answer a few questions for us!

Would like a review of the ship's Champagne & Lobster Catamaran Cruise in Antigua. How large is the catamaran and what company do they use?

What is the time for 'bags out' on the last night of the cruise? It's our anniversary that night and we'd like to do a nice dinner in La Reserve.

Thanks for any insight!

pinotlover, there is no availability our last night onboard. So, it's either fully booked or was never available to begin with. Thanks for the info!

To clear up this answer for others:

Although La Reserve may be considered a restaurant in some senses, in that they serve food, it is primarily a Wine Venue.

As such, La Reserve is not open for business on every night of every cruise as are all of the other restaurants, with the exception of the outdoor pool grill

(Waves, alone, closes at 4 pm).

Rather, specific Wine Events are scheduled in La Reserve during each voyage, some of them are pure Wine Tastings, others are Wine Pairing Dinners.

On Days when no Wine Event is planned, La Reserve is unused and the room goes dark.

Jim & Stan, thanks for the info. Do you have any experience or knowledge of the Antigua catamaran cruise offered by Oceania? Specifically, is it a nice cat? is it large or small? what cat company does Oceania use? Mystic or other?

my mom and i want to use our shipboard credit to dine here but wont be able to reserve in advance since we're going to use the credit. in your experience do you think we will be able to reserve a spot once the cruise starts? otherwise, we really dont know what we will use the credit for. thanks!
