Good morning,

going to post photos for our cruise. We had a fantastic time spending 4 days pre cruise in Rome. As you will see in the Rome photos we had all 4 days of clear blue sky!! Not going to post much as far as comments etc.

We stayed at the Hotel DioCleziano which was a block from Termini train station.

Some photos may be out of sync etc so bare with me.

We took some suggestions from Norris (Bimmer09) from his Med review and went to this exclusive restaurant. We were able to walk to Termini station and take the train to many places. This was one of them. Which saved us quite a bit of time.

Fares were 1.50 Euro.

We walked to many places during the day and night and felt safe all the time.

We tried this restaurant after seeing it in Norris's review.

It was good but we decided we liked the more authentic Italian places.

The hotel only had about 30 rooms and there were at least 10 from Cruise Critic. 7 of us set up a 9:00 transfer to the port through Rome in Limo. Its about a 45-60 minute drive. It was Sunday so there was no traffic. Cost about 190 euro split 7 ways 27e each.

We arrived at the port around 10:00am dropped off the luggage and were handed group #2 tags. There was only about 75 people there. We waited about 45 minutes and then checked in. We were directed to another sitting area and boarded around 11:30. It went very smoothly.

We were in Lido 726 (Gibraltar Suite) the very center aft facing newly added suite. The passageway and the suite still had the new car smell. :)

Forgot to take photos before the luggage arrived so its a slight mess.....
