Status of SD2 Dry Dock and Crossing

SD calendar had both departing for crossings yesterday Nov. 1. See SD1 departed Malaga but Marine Traffic and Naval Rocha shipyard both show SD2 still in dry dock. Anybody have updates or status?

Delayed until the following morning due to very high swells.

Currently scheduled to depart Lisbon at 4 PM today. Stop at Funchal has been cancelled.

Thanks for the update. Does anyone know what refurbishments were made while in drydock?

We will be sailing for the first time on SD2 in a few weeks after having been on SD1 twice over the past two years. Sadly, we will miss Pierre and Gareth but look forward to meeting some new faces.

I haven't heard but did hear that the work is yet to be completed. Not sure whether it is being done en route across the Atlantic or will be done in the Caribbean.

Not that I'm aware of, Jim. I do miss them!

We are Nov 22 SD2 also.

Last Dec on SD1 we had wallpapering and painting work happening on deck 2 cabin hallway while under sail, but it was not intrusive and the workers were very courteous

It wouldn't be a big deal, they are always working on the ship as it sails........
