Legend of the Seas - Tui Discovery 2

RCI Legend of the Seas is on its way back to Europe from the South Pacific and approaching Cochin. It should arrive in Cadiz (I presume) by the end of March for its rebranding and refit. Hopefully when we arrive in Cadiz end of April after Dreams TA we should get sight of her as we did Discovery 1 last year. Looking forward to it as the livery is very attractive I think.

Thanks for the update - knowing that the refurb is now in site is exciting as we are on the first sailing of Discovery 2 from Malaga on 14th May.

Will report back if we see her in Cadiz Campolady and so glad you and hubby are cruising again

There is a webcam for Cadiz port where you should be able to see her in dry dock

Should be there by march as been told some of the crew will start to join that month, and also some in april, its having the 3 day launch too as the discovery had but this time its the managers of the thomson shops going it was assistant managers last year

Yes some of the crew from Dream will get on her when we arrive in Cadiz Maybe some from Discovery will transfer on as well when they arrive after TA as they need Thomson crew to train the new crew. I know Madi a very good barman from Dream has done a stint on Celebration in the Middle East and is transferring to Discovery and has to train new crew in the 'Thomson way'

when we was on the discovery in jan there was a change over of about 90 crew on our last day, wonder if some of them will be off to d2 after their breaks, i know katie rodway is gonna be one of the acds, discovery and d2 have 2 acds, but not sure who cd is

As I recall, her last cruise as Legend of the Seas is from Dubai on the 13th, and ends in Barcelona on the 28th; with the move to Cadiz on the 29th March.
