Tours in Lifou

Heading to pacific islands on Celebrity Solstice next week. I have only been to Lifou once when it poured rain so didn't get to explore the island.

Are there any private tours available? Are you able to hire a driver?

Any recommendations for us apart from snorkelling. Will definitely snorkel but would like to see more.

There should be some local tours available from the market near the tender jetty. A notice board with the tours content and the cost in AUD will be on display. I'm not sure about hiring a driver though.

Also the snorkelling, at Jinek Bay, is restricted to 100 people in the water in the morning, and another 100 in the afternoon. This is to help protect the reef. It is excellent so if you want to go there best to go early.

We used Atmosphere Tours, they use very good, safe vehicles with nice guide and driver. They have a good selection of tours available too

Hi, we are going on Celebrity Solstice in March and will be wanting to go to Jinek Bay in the afternoon (we don't like cold water so I think afternoon would be better).

You say to go there early - so I presume in the morning? Is there a reason why?

Can you advise how/when you go about organising the tickets? We really don't want to miss out.
