Fantasy Cabin E253

We've already booked Cabin E253 on the Empress Deck (7th) and I was wondering what was above our cabin on Deck 8. E253 is the last cabin on the starboard side aft. It doesn't explain what it is on the Carnival deck plans. Just hoping that it's not something that is going to be terribly noisy. Thanks for your help.

Not under the galley. The galley is between the two MDRs. You'll be under the aft MDR and conference room.

We're in E257, two doors away and around the corner from your cabin, leaving in a few hours. Not expecting to hear anything. One cruise we had the aft-most table in the aft MDR. The waiters did not go any further aft than their service stations.

We have been on the Fantasy many, many times. Your cabin IS NOT below the galley! Your cabin is at the very end of the ship and the galley is in the middle of the ship. We have had cabins just down from you. You look out the window at the wake.

The dining room is on deck 8, above you, but it is not above your cabin. The old catalog I have doesn't show anything above you but I know there are cabins at the top of the stairs back by these cabins. There could be crew cabins here.

The only deck we want to be on is deck 7 and the back of it. Our dining room is one deck up on 8, the promenade deck with night time stuff is deck 9 and the buffet is up in the back of deck 10. Everything is easy to get there from the back of deck 7!

The Serenity deck (9) is right above you to at the very back of the ship. You can walk thru the Forum on deck 9 or take the stairs just down from you. They go to a landing with the Serenity bath room on you right and a door on the other side then stairs up to the Serenity deck.

Just back from the Inspiration. Above our aft facing cabin (E257) was a crew deck.

Never heard a sound from above. Did hear our neighbors in the hallway. You'll hear less than we did.

To get to Serenity we took the 'hidden' stairs from the middle, kind of across from our cabin. Up the stairs, thru the outside door, up another staircase to Serenity.
