questions before our cruise :)

Going on the divina next month. This will be our second cruise so we are newbies. I have some last minute questions so bare with me...

When getting off the ship at the ports, do we need our passports to get back on?

Also when is the latest we can literally walk back onto the ship before it leaves? Half hour prior? I know to allow time to get back to the port from an excursion but more curious at what time to get back on. If it says we are at the port until 3pm does that mean we walk back on at 3 or before that?

When and how is the best way to pay for the gratuities? Before cruise or once we are on it.

Any idea to get the movie schedule by the pool ahead of time or does it vary?

What time do you suggest lining up to see the show (we have first dining seating)

Do we still get the drink vouchers in the casino (fantastica package)

Are formal nights on sea days?

I think that's it!!! We are so excited and can't wait! Thanks so much in advance

In most ports your sea pass card and a photo ID are all that is required. No need to bring your passport.

The daily program should tell you what the all aboard time is. There generally is also a sign with that info as you leave the ship.

Whether you want to pre-pay your gratuities is a matter of personal preference. No financial advantage to either unless you have on board credit you want to use.

Unless you have a specific seat you want, just 10 minutes or so before the show should be fine.

If you purchased vouchers you pick them up in the casino on embarkation.

Don't know the other answers. [emoji10]

We take passports ashore as a precaution in the case of medical emergencies or other rare circumstances that would cause you to miss the ship and need to navigate your way home. But we are always with our belongings (not leaving them on a beach) so it's easy for us to do.

When getting off the ship at the ports, do we need our passports to get back on? I have made credit card sized photocopies of our passports and laminated them, (UK don't have photo IDs ) for use in an emergency. , your access to the ship is your cruise card.

Also when is the latest we can literally walk back onto the ship before it leaves? Half hour prior? I know to allow time to get back to the port from an excursion but more curious at what time to get back on. If it says we are at the port until 3pm does that mean we walk back on at 3 or before that? Half an hour prior to sailing time, check whether the ship is on local time or ship's time

When and how is the best way to pay for the gratuities? Before cruise or once we are on it. Let them just add on the daily service charge to your account

Any idea to get the movie schedule by the pool ahead of time or does it vary? daily info sheet which is in your cabin the night before

What time do you suggest lining up to see the show (we have first dining seating) don't line up just walk in about 10
