Carnival Valor

We are going on our first family cruise in May on the Carnival Valor. I have read many reviews, however, none for this specific ship. Can anyone tell me anything about their experience? We are traveling with three minors (17, 12, and 9) which I have signed up for their respective clubs. I have purchased drink passes for everyone (age appropriate of course. ;) Wouldn't want the hubby breaking the bank) as I am going to let the kids indulge in the sugars I deny them at home.

Thanks

We were on the Valor over Thanksgiving....love the ship and the crew! The Kids club was great to my children, my 8yr old only went one day, she made a lot of friends in on the Lido. My 11yr old went everyday and had a great time! Our cabin steward was the best we have ever had on the Valor! I would sail on her again in a heartbeat. This was our first cruise with the kids and it went so well that we are going on a longer one in July. Enjoy!

I was on the Valor ages ago, and didn't have anything to compare her to since she was our first cruise. However, we loved her then and I'm sure she's just as amazing now. The only thing that bugged me, and it really wasn't a big deal, is that we never found a way to the main floor of the auditorium. We always ended up coming up on the 2nd level doors. Even when we'd take the elevator/stairs down an extra floor next time, we always ended up on the 2nd floor. Not a big deal, though. We laughed at it by the end of the week. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

I've been on the Valor 7 times, and the only hiccups I've had was on a "freebie" casino cruise, where they gave me an inside cabin on the lowest deck with a non working TV and stopped up shower.

The Valor probably has the "loudest" Farcus interior decor of the Conquest class ships (Conquest, Glory, Valor, Freedom and Liberty), but one can like it or ignore it. I used to sail it for the low solo fares offered when they were 150% on the Western Itinerary.

We sailed Valor last year before she got the 2.0 additions and absolutely loved her. The crew was fantastic!!!! I am sure that with the 2.0 upgrades she is even better now. Enjoy your cruise!

We sailed the Valor in March 2016. We had a wonderful time.

We had a balcony cabin, deck 8, mid ship.

We loved the dining room staff (early dining) ... we had F2F ... we spent a LOT of time in the spa. We had a blast on the boat.

We loved our itinerary and our excursions (Belize, Cozumel, Honduras, Costa Maya). We left our of Port Canaveral which was easy.

I too, wrote a review, but can't find it.
