Internet use with cell phone

Wondering what Internet package I will need on board.

Only want to be able check email through my cell phones native email app which is not a website. I've got my work exchange and yahoo accounts linked in.

I understand that they can restrict you from certain websites and known apps (like Netflix/Hulu) but once I get Wi-Fi on my cell (for $5 social package) can they really block my email app from connecting?

Thanks!

More than likely you will need the Value tier. I do not believe social media includes email.

Yes they can block you from anything they want. Basically, the block ports and they block socket traffic which is how all internet traffic works. This is a common practice, to keep you from going places that the host provider does not want you to go to at the level you are paying for.
