Pride of America - Casino?

Was on the Pride of America last nite for a one night inaugural in Miami. There is no casino on board, but after talking with one of the officers, we learned that the ship is wired for one (for cameras, etc.), and as soon as they can get the political stuff straightened out, they are hoping to be able to open one. They'd turn one of the larger areas (perhaps one of the restaurants) into a casino. The officer wasn't clear as to which of the rooms would become the casino.

None of the NCL ships in Hawaii have had casinos. Hawaii has one of the strictest gaming laws in the nation. When the Star was introduced directly to Hawaii, she did not have a casino. Her current casino was added when she drydocked last year by taking out Dazzles Nightclub. When the Sky was converted to the Pride of Aloha, her casino was taken out and a Hawaiian Museum now occupies that space. On another thread, I read that the Norweigan Wind's casino has been converted to something else while she is in Hawaii. I don't think you will see gaming in Hawaii anytime soon and thus no casinos on the NCL America Ships.
