Coming in 12/7 for 12/9 Yachtsman

Managed to change our flight on 12/8 to 12/7 with no change charge so we have more time in St. Maarten. We had originally been coming in around 3:45 on 12/8.

Has anyone stayed at Hotel Passagrande? We booked in the new wing and hope it's good.

There are quite a few threads on this subject already if you use the search function. I did "St. Maarten hotel."

We had them hold our luggage after our WS cruise last year while we shopped and then had lunch at their beachside restaurant. I can't comment on the rooms but everyone was so nice and our lunch very good. We liked the vibe of the place.

Nice hotel close to the ship. It has a good beach. It is on Front St. near shops, restaurants, and casinos. St.martin is a small island. If this is your 1st time staying there, take a taxi or rent a car. The island is beautiful.

If you have the time....take a cab over to Marigot on the French side of the island. Wonderful bakeries (Serafina) and little boutique shops. Grand Case is a little further away but it has great restaurants. Can't remember the name of the Italian restaurant we went to....but I'm sure they are all good.
