Comparison between US and UK fare's

Even taking the flights into account it is much cheaper to book from USA.
That may be a general situation but not always the case - I have evidence of UK fares, albeit though a TA, being a considerable reduction against Cunard list and better than anything seen available in America at the same time. As said before, fares are a minefield and a good deal of research can find significant savings. Some of the flight upgrades to premium economy/business can also be good deals through UK offers.

Agree, always best to do your homework. However people should not be put off using a US TA website if it is well known and has been around a long time. I have used TAs on both sides of the pond dependent on which has the best deal for me or direct with the cruiseline.

The better the deal, the more I can cruise! :)

We have just booked using a US travel agent and cannot believe how much money we have saved, we booked our own flight, we are going from New York - Halifax - Southampton - Queens Grill in July and have paid $7800, I think the UK priced was more than this in pounds
