In hull staterooms

Can someone tell me if the hull balcony staterooms on deck 6 have been refurbished? Cunard told me if there was time during dry dock they would be otherwise before the world cruise. Sailing in October so curious to know. Tired of the old orange sofa's.

I don't have a specific answer but my understanding was that 4-5-6 staterooms were not on the dry dock refurbishment list. It's only recently that they've committed to having all the staterooms completed prior to the world cruise - whether that means they made more progress during dry dock than they originally planned, I do not know.

The official announcement from a senior Cunard executive at the Remastering Celebrations held in Southampton the other day, was that they had managed to refurbish more of the Britannia staterooms than they originally thought would be possible.

 

Apparently there was only one or two staterooms on deck 'five' yet to be completed. (I think that was the gist of the announcement)

I prefer the hull balcony on the QM2, but I haven't seen or heard anything

24th July. Not sure if I could ask you to leave it in good condition or force them to refurbish whilst it's in New York! Fingers crossed they finish them soon...
