Rio cruise terminal - is it easy to get a taxi to get to our hotel

The last time we disembarked in Rio, we had a transfer to hotel included in our package. So we didn't really look for taxis.

Is there a taxi queue and are there plenty of taxis. Or is it mayhem?? [emoji33]

We disembarked in Rio on January 4th. The process was long and very hot (it did look like they are finishing a new terminal) with lots of waiting in lines outside immigration and you exit into mass chaos but it wasn't hard to find a taxi - and we needed one for 4 people with lots of luggage (we'd been cruising for 31 days). We knew the approximate fare and I think the driver actually charged slightly less.
