Thailand _ Kanchanaburi (The Death Railway)

Yes, this was a very sad event in WWII. Visiting these sites was a moving experience. A recent movie about these events is "The Railway Man", which does a great job of portraying what these POWs with through at the hand of the Japanese. It is being shown on Netflix!

This was a day-trip from Bangkok with a private driver and guide. It was a long day, but well worth the effort!
