This cruise isn't selling well; heading to Korea and China in the middle of winter was probably a hard sell to start with; but I am sure that Regent has better data than me and truly thought this itinerary would sell.

Now, with current geopolitical concerns, I wonder if these are affecting sales. There are three stops in Korea which is turning into a minor hotspot.

Any thoughts? I don't think Regent can redo the itinerary as it is really hard for them to change Beijing as debarkation/embarkation port at this late date. Real reason i am curious as to input from more experienced cruisers is that I am considering cancelling this leg and "hoping/planning" for an "extension" offer as Kwaj Girl received last year; any additional experience on extension offers?

Marc

PS I am not considering canceling trip due to safety; I would still cruise to Tunis, Cairo, and Istanbul if they were offered.
