I know I'm probably preaching to the Choir; but

We received our Silver Box this week. We are pretty excited. That said, our cousin who's travelling as a single with us had a bit of a glitch. Here's the background:

1. We arranged our own air to and from South America, as we have arranged a pre-cruise on our own.
   
2. We purchased SS air package to and from Baltra
   
3. The flight TO Baltra leaves from Quito BUT the "standard" return is to Guayaquil.
   
4. This was fine for us as we could easily arrange a flight on preferred airline from Guayaquil
   
5. Cousin though wanted to fly home on *A using miles so she wanted to see if she could fly back from Quito.
   

She thought she'd requested this air deviation but no one noticed on her earlier paperwork that SS still had her flying only as far as Guayaquil. Anyway, she did notice when she received her Silver Box and it all got fixed.

Lesson learned, especially if your asking for something "non-standard," CHECK YOUR INVOICES EARLY AND OFTEN.

Yeah for SilverBoxes! TA called Wednesday and said she had ours, was Fedexing it up, should be here tomorrow. Now to wait another 35 days…

I still have almost a year to wait for my Silver Box but its well worth the wait.
