Golden Princess - Mini Suite v Balcany

Recommended Posts

We are a family of 4 (2 adult children) looking at doing a Tasmania cruise on the Golden Princess. We were looking at a mini suite & an inside cabin.

After some research I am concerned about the open balcony on the mini suite. If it is raining or cold when we are cruising around Wineglass Bay we will not be able to use the balcony. Can anyone advise if it would be better to book two balconies next to each other instead.

Thank you for your help

Jules

It probably would be better to book two balcony cabins next to each other as the partition can be opened up to allow them to connect.

All of the mini suites have balconies that are fully exposed and can be looked at from the balconies above. The C deck balconies are a combination of both. They have privacy but if you walk to the rails you can be seen from above and you can also look down on all the open mini suites. The balconies above C deck are all private and no one can look down on them.

Hi Jules,

Get 2 balconies so you can be close to your children. If it's cold, you can always rug up. You'd have to be very unlucky for rain to spoil your day in Wineglass Bay. You spend most of the day scenic cruising. It's a stunning place. Enjoy :)
