LIVE from the Regal - Eastern Caribbean - 12/11/16

Hi everybody.

Just arrived at the port at 9:45. About 20th in the preferred line. The regular line is longer. I'm surprised there's so many people here this early. No delays at all coming in from 17th Street, and you don't have to go through port security as you do if coming in from the south end.

We flew in to FLL from YYZ on Friday, and did a BVE (Bon Voyage Experience) on the Royal yesterday. For that LIVE, click here:

The weather looks better than yesterday. Cloudy, but no rain so far, and no crazy 50 mph winds, though it is breezy.

I'll do my best to post lots of photos throughout the week.

Doors opened shortly after 11. Security and check-in were a breeze, and now waiting in the Elite lounge. It looks like repurposed offices, with a bunch of small rooms with nine people in each. The drinks/snacks were underwhelming...

Just disembarked this morning. A great cruise with great staff. Have an amazing time!

Boarding for Elites started at 11:53. We dumped our stuff in the cabin and headed for our traditional welcome aboard drink at Crooners.

Emerald Deck, under the seawalk. Low enough that it can't be seen into, and the bigger balcony is nice.

Mongolian BBQ Night at Horizon Court

Had dinner in the MDR. We always dine late seating traditional at a table for 8, but unfortunately tonight we were the only ones to show up! Hopefully our table mates will arrive tomorrow for formal night. Here are the menus:

The upside was we got great service and got to know our waiter, Sladjana, and Headwaiter Vasco. They are great!
