Belfast Belle Posted January 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2017 Hello We have booked a cabin on Crown Princess to the Fiords on 1st July in an aft cabin R729 on Riviera deck 14. We are happy with the position having previously sailed in an aft cabin on ventura. This cabin is below Cafe Caribe and I'm wondering if we might hear any kitchen noise in the cabin early in the morning. Grateful for any advice. Rare Essiesmom Posted January 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 14, 2017 Your chosen cabin appears to be just below the buffet line, not the kitchen. I think there should be mostly foot traffic in that area. EM
JF - retired RRT Posted January 14, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2017 We stay in the 700s on Aloha & Riviera deck (depending on the ship) and rarely hear any noise at all. On occasion we can hear chairs being moved around. Great location due to proximity to the aft pool, the Outriggers Bar and HC.

bally_gal Posted January 20, 2017 #6 Share Posted January 20, 2017 In the 700's we have not heard any noise from above. Just finished a cruise on the Emerald Princess which has the same layout as the Crown. We were in R744 which was the very last cabin before the external door to the back deck. We loved the location!! Even though we had a store room next door to us, and were very close to the Outrigger Bar and deck as well as to the Caribe buffet, we hardly heard any noise at all. What little noise we heard came from the cabin next door, not from what was above us. Sent from my iPad using Forums
