Some love it ,some don't ;). A rather small run down port needing more attractions. Harassment becomes annoying rather quickly . There in dire need of US of A cash. I'll go again ;). The real question I need answers to , what happened to Key West from Charleston S.C.

I must confess, I know the answer :D

Great news :) We were there four months back other than the port area it looked degraded. What's the improvement ? Jamaica  you said that right.

The two times we have been there ship gets in at 7 and leaves at 2 pm.

The beach is controlled by bars and who wants to drink so early in the morning?

sounds like the 8 day itineraries to the southern caribbean where you get to either Aruba or Curacao at 1pm depending on which island you hit first.

Made a deal with my stomach some years ago no drinking before hi noon.

First time we went here reserved chairs on a beach in front of a bar and every few minutes they asked what we wanted to drink. At 9 am it gets old rather quickly. And Costa Maya has a tiny little beach.
