simplelife Posted September 29, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 29, 2016 For our January Conquest cruise I have booked the Comfort Inn and Suites on Commercial Blvd for less than $100. Good reviews, free breakfast &wi fi, smoke-free property. Sent from my iPad using Forums
joepeka Posted September 29, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2016 What Bodidly said, especially the Embassy Suites. We've always stayed there on all our FLL cruises and it is very nice. Nightly happy hour (complimentary drinks), free breakfast and close to the the Harbor Shops shopping "mall."
bakersdozen12 Posted September 29, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 29, 2016 We stayed at the Springhill Suites in Dania Beach and really liked it. It was very reasonably priced too. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app

simplelife Posted September 29, 2016 #7 Share Posted September 29, 2016 Hilton , Embassy Suites 17th St I don't think this fit the description "not too pricey". Stay further from the port and prices are more reasonable. Sent from my iPad using Forums
doone Posted September 29, 2016 #8 Share Posted September 29, 2016 I have the Hyatt Place booked through Valuetrips.com, this property is at 17th street, right behind the Embassy Suites as I understand it and believe their parking is $7/day. breezer Posted September 29, 2016 #9 Share Posted September 29, 2016 Fairfield Inn & Suites on Griffin Road in Dania Beach has package including shuttle to port, and parking for up to 30 days. I have stayed here before and left my car there for 13 nights and didn't have any problems. I will be using them again soon for upcoming cruise. Boo's Mom Posted September 29, 2016 #11 Share Posted September 29, 2016 You can't go wrong with the Embassy Suites on 17th St. I have stayed there many a night. As long as the price is good! Certain times of the year: Ft Lauderdale hotels are off the chart expensive!
eandj Posted September 30, 2016 #12 Share Posted September 30, 2016 I have the Hyatt Place booked through Valuetrips.com, this property is at 17th street, right behind the Embassy Suites as I understand it and believe their parking is $7/day. The rate here is $149 for dates in Dec. If you can get parking for $7 daily while gone, it's a good deal. $10 to port via cab. If you want lower rates stay further from port. Lots of choices. Nice property on a lakes, walking distance to many restaurant and the lowest price of all the same old, same old hotels that are always listed. . coloradocruise Posted September 30, 2016 #14 Share Posted September 30, 2016 I'll second the Fairfield Inn in Dania Beach. We also parked here while on our cruise and had no problems. I'd call to check prices and see how much it is to park though because I don't think that was included in our room rate as we didn't get the park and fly rate. Sent from my iPad using Forums We have stayed at Hilton Marina and Embassy Suites for $109 and $89 per night. Even during high season. We have reservations this year at the Hilton Marina during Thanksgiving holiday for $129. Granted, one can probably get a room at Motel 6 for much less but no-thanks. Both of those hotels charge for overnight parking, so I'm sure they would charge for parking while the OP is on the cruise.
