We are planning to take our granddaughters 3 and 4 on a Disney cruise out of NY

We would love to see them receive the princess treatment while on board

Any information would be helpful such as when to make reservation for the princess treatment

Sorry if I am using princess treatment and it is called an other thing by Disney

Thanks

I'm guessing that you mean that you want the Bippidy Boppidy Boutique where there are various packages you can purchase including hair, makeup, and dress. If they already have princess dresses, you'll save a lot by bringing them. Depending on when you are cruising, check the Disney Store or on line right before or after Halloween (they normally are discounted a few days before!) You can see the various packages offered at the DCL web site so that you'll have an idea of what you want.

The other event that you might be thinking of is the Royal Tea... whether or not it is offered depends on which ship you are on and how long the cruise is. This is a tea party with lots of princesses and lots of take home goodies. Trust me, you don't go for the tea or apple juice!

To book either of these things, you need to wait till your booking window opens. If you are a first timer on DCL, this will be 75 days before your cruise unless you are in concierge (120 days then). If you are in concierge, tell the shoreside concierge to book it all for you--you're paying their salary! (you can still do it yourself on line, but why not use the service?) If it is full on line when your window opens, keep checking back--people do cancel. If all else fails, go to "Port Adventures" right after boarding and see if you can book or waitlist at that time.

You'll also want to book a time for the Frozen Meet and Greet (with characters from Frozen--Anna, Elsa, and sometimes others). This is a free event, but a ticket is required. Same for the "Princess Gathering," a ticketed meet and greet with about 5 princesses. Free ticket needed. And don't forget to bring their autograph books!

I'm only guessing that this is what you are referring to. BBB is basically a beauty shop where a "fairy godmother in training" will transform your little girl into a princess--doing hair, makeup, and clothing depending on what you have purchased.

All little girls who are well behaved are treated like princesses by cruise staff, servers, etc. It is not unusual for a server to call a girl "Princess" or escort her to her chair as if he is her prince. So I can't think of anything else that might be thought of as "Princess Treatment."
