Murphey Posted June 28, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 28, 2016 On the Emerald it's just the midship premium mini's.

fishywood Posted June 28, 2016 #8 Share Posted June 28, 2016 (edited) Does anyone know if the new club class for mini suites is for ALL mini suites?? Or just a selected few? And is it on ALL ships? I am interested in the Emerald to Alaska...thanks! Everything you need to know is easily found on the Princess web site. Club Class overview The effective dates are on the Club Class Dining page: Club Class Dining will debut on board Ruby Princess (Dec 10, 2016) and Emerald Princess (Dec 12, 2016), followed by Island Princess (Jan 4, 2017), Sapphire Princess (Jan 7, 2017), Regal Princess (Jan 8, 2017), Grand Princess (Jan 9, 2017), Royal Princess (Jan 29, 2017), Coral Princess (Feb 6, 2017), Majestic Princess (Mar 30, 2017), Sun Princess (Apr 5 2017), Crown Princess (Apr 8, 2017), Star Princess (Apr 11, 2017), Caribbean Princess (Apr 6, 2017), Diamond Princess (Apr 20, 2017), Pacific Princess (Jun 9, 2017), Sea Princess (Sep 2, 2017) and Golden Princess (Oct 2, 2017). Please note this schedule is subject to change. For Emerald Princess if you check the deck plans for 'Sailing after December 12, 2016' you will see that 28 midship Dolphin deck Mini-Suites were recategorized from MA Mini-Suites to M1 Club Class. That will be all. Edited June 28, 2016 by fishywood
IECalCruiser Posted June 28, 2016 #9 Share Posted June 28, 2016 Apparently it's all ships, but a select few on each ship.On the Grand class ships it is the 28 Cat M1 cabins midship on Dolphin deck. On the Coral and Island it is 24 Cat M1 cabins midship, mostly on Dolphin deck but there are 4 each on Caribe and Baja decks in the midship bump out. On the Royal and Regal it is 38 with 10 Cat M1 cabins on Baja, Aloha and Riviera decks and 4 Cat M4 cabins all the way forward on Marina and Lido decks. MrKenFL Posted July 14, 2016 #10 Share Posted July 14, 2016 We have a club class mini suite on our next cruise ! Our traveling companions have the balcony stateroom right next to our stateroom ! We are Platinum princess cruisers ! They are new Princess cruisers ! Question: will our friends still be able to sit with us at our MDR table due to our "exclusive club class dining" and will they be able to ride our coat tails for priority embarkation since they will be traveling with us and arriving at the ship with us ? It's their 50th wedding anniversary which has nothing to do with it but we just want them to to relax and enjoy the experience ! Any advice or comments would be appreciated. We will be on the first Coral Princess cruise offering Club Class mini-suites!
R&S Posted July 14, 2016 #11 Share Posted July 14, 2016 When booking a mini suite with this new category, do you need to select Any Time Dining? If you select a specific dining time you may be assigned a table in the main dining room. Maybe it doesn't matter? Just curious. Enjoy your cruise,

You just have to not eat in the mini class dining option, at least that is what has been said about it. I personally do not know anyone who has cruised with this perk so I cannot speak personally to it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Enjoy your cruise, We booked a Club Level Mini-Suite and had the option of Anytime or Traditional. We picked anytime like we normally do. Not sure of exactly how this will work out with the new Club Class Dining. Guess we'll find out when Ruby & Emerald begin their Club Class sailings. :)

jshyshka Posted July 18, 2016 #15 Share Posted July 18, 2016 Interesting - we are sailing on the Island Princess on Oct. 2nd 2016 and we got a notice from Princess (email) that we were now in a "Club Class" mini-suite - listing all the new perks. Doesn't seem to coincide with the activation dates that are posted on this message. Maybe it's a "test it out" sort of thing :-)
AtlantaCruiser72 Posted July 19, 2016 #16 Share Posted July 19, 2016 Nothing for us who need an HC stateroom. Shame.:( I wonder if you called the Princess access desk if they couldn't somehow accommodate you - book you as Club Class but berth you in an accessible mini? As per ADA there must be an effort at "reasonable" accommodation and that sounds reasonable to me :D Certainly worth a try!

We will be on the first Coral Princess cruise offering Club Class mini-suites! From the Princess FAQ: 5. Can a Club Class guest invite their friends to exclusive dining under their reservation? Exclusive Club Class Dining is only available for the guests booked within a Club Class Mini-Suite or Full Suite. Guests who wish to dine with friends, family and other cruisers not booked in a Club Class Mini-Suite or Full Suite are welcome to do so during our Anytime Dining hours in the Main Dining Room. Guests who would like to book a Club Class Mini-Suite, but would prefer to dine in Traditional Dining can request this change by calling Princess or your travel consultant. They do not get the perks you paid extra for or everyone would ride the cot tails of a higher category perk.
