My first cruise

Well, I'm 31 and I have finally went on my first cruise. I've always heard mixed things about them. I decided it was something I had to try. I must say, I absolutely LOVED it. This is something I have to do on an annual basis now.

It was 4 nights on Carnival to Key West and Cozumel. I greatly debated the drink package. I went against it, mostly since my girlfriend doesn't drink much. In the end, I'd say that was a great choice as I ate too much food to have much room for alcohol. Still brought wine, and bought a few. The pour your own beer station was also convenient and reasonable.

I expected the food to be sub-par. All in all, it was above average. The staff was extremely friendly. There was so much to do. I loved the Punchliner. I even got to see Jay Leno perform. He was fantastic.

Sorry for my rant :) I'm obsessed now. Doing another one in October to the Bahamas. The price and value is too good to ignore.

Glad you are now a cruise junkie. Remember that there are many cruise lines to explore. Find a good travel agent to help you get the most bang for your buck.
