First time cruiser - Celebrity Reflection

Hi all

I am new to this site, my first post and looking forward to my first cruise in July. I am just looking for some tips, guidance as new to cruising.

Myself and my wife, mid 40's and 2 kids, early teens are booked for 2 days in Rome before boarding Celebrity Reflection on the 21 July to do a 10 day cruise taking in Messina, Naples, Chania, Athens, Santorini, Rhodes and Mykonos.

I was thinking on arranging tours through "cruise excursions" for a Naples and Santorini and getting off at other ports but doing our own things.

Has anyone been on this cruise? can anyone give me valuable guidance on the cruise ship or what ports to visit? do I need formal wear as I read somewhere about formal nights on board.
