On the Summit and all M-class ships all the Concierge cabins are larger than on the standard verandahs, the S-class are all the same size. I don't know if it was mentioned before, but there is a special luncheon on embarkation day from 11:30 - 1:00 for Concierge Class guests in the MDR. It's a nice option so you don't have the fight the crowds in the OVC. When you enter, they will store any carry-on luggage you have with you and escort you to a table. The choices are limited, but DH and I loved the lamb chops. I think there was a fish, and chicken item available as well as a few salads, and some desserts. It was nice to sit and be served.

I've never seen the pillow menu in printed form, but we always ask our stateroom attendant for the molded memory foam pillows. The attendant will tell you what's available. Lately, the sparkling wine hasn't been in the cabin on arrival, but the attendant has told us he'd bring it chilled when we wanted it, and suggested that it might be nice on the first evening chic night. They will also substitute a cheese plate for the afternoon savories if you wish.

My wife and I have booked a cruise on the Summit for November of 2016 and have been upgraded from C3 Concierge class to C2. Are there any benefits to C2 over C3? Never had this before.

No, all the perks/benefits are the same in all concierge class cabins,

As mentioned the only difference in the 3 categories are location, personally I prefer the aft C3 cabins (as close to the elevator as possible) so never take the free captains club upgrade,

Also on M-Class most (if not all) C1's have massive balconies.

When we've been Concierge, we always ask the cabin steward for a standard order of shrimp and salmon plates for the afternoon savories - no problems:D.

One benefit is the Room Service menu...attached.

Hi, thanks for posting the concierge breakfast menu. I note there are charges for premium selections. Does that mean it cost concierge class extra? TIA

Yes. Any items with a cost listed are what you will pay. There are many items on this item that only appear for Concierge and above which do not appear for verandah and below.

Is lunch in MDR on embarcation day now a new cc perk?

Yes, but it's really just a more limited MDR dinner menu. It takes about the same amount of time as eating an MDR dinner.

The lunch we were offered was either Lamb chop or salmon. Neither appealed to my husband. He did not enjoy it and when we emerged, we found that not only was the buffet open, but so was the Mast Grille and the Aqua Spa Cafe, all of which, we both would have enjoyed better for lunch.

We won't do it again, but had to try it once to make that determination.

I enjoyed the lamb chops and DW the salmon. Plus no pushing and craziness of the buffet. As we finished they announced the cabins were ready. Worked perfectly for us.

Your mileage may vary.

Also, lamb and salmon on my January cruise. They were showing the menu to folks walking in, because many sat down and left when they read the menu. I don't eat either, but I had the chocolate cake, which was awesome, and some wonderful conversation with the couple who were sitting next to me.

Ditto! Plus, no need to schlep around carry on luggage.

We are departing from Amsterdam late august and have the following questions:

How early can concierge guest board the Silhouette?

Do concierge guest have preferred disembarking in ports? (We have arranged a tour with a private company in Saint Petersburg and are concerned about get off the ship in time)

Thanks!

Hi all. If my husband and I are in concierge class and the teenagers are in an inside cabin, do they get to board with us and eat in the mdr on embarkation day? I know carnival let the kids do this when we were in a suite and they were in an inside

Interesting question! I would ask when you are checking in prior to boarding. We always had to show our seapass card when we entered the MDR. The concierge class card is gold so it does stand out, however possibly if you show yours and enter as a family maybe it would work. I'd be interested to know how it turns out. Have a great cruise.
