Perhaps your TA signed you up for the Captains Club knowing your association with Royal. There may be some decent perks involved depending on your status. If you do your on line check in your status on Celebrity will be found there. You may then check for the perks.

I don't really understand the purpose of putting captains club on the luggage tags. All the luggage tags are for is to get your luggage to your cabin.

If you have concerns, don't use them and get blank ones that you fill out at the pier from a porter.
