Silver Cloud--August 2016

I may have missed posts on this so apologies in advance. I noticed there are no itineraries present for the Silver Cloud in August 2016. Any idea where she will be? Wet dock or dry dock? And if so, any idea what they will be refurbishing? Thanks so much!

Not sure if this is the time its being done, but the Cloud is being refitted to become an expedition ship.

The refit to become an expedition ship is happening in early summer 2017. The August 2016 gap is because the Cloud has been chartered for the Rio Olympics by one of the USA teams/association/officials and will be somewhere in Brazil.

Funnily I thought that was the case that the refit was later. I did notice myself there was a big gap last year when I was searching for its journeys, (I'm a silver cloud stalker hehe!) - and just put 2 and 2 together.

Interesting. I bet that will be a fab trip!
