Blue Hole- Current Conditions

Just visited Blue Hole this week. While it was neat, it very clearly was not operating the way it usually does. They are repairing a pipe that usually diverts water from this area. While it's being repaired the currents are VERY strong. Only 2 of the jumps are open and our guides continually apologized that we didn't get the full experience. It's also advertised as good for all ages but in these conditions only those that are good swimmers and in decent shape seemed to have a good time. A lot of people were struggling from all age groups.

If you have this scheduled in the next few weeks check with your tour group or excursion planner to see if the pipe has been repaired.

For what i see online the repairs only take a few days so everything is back to normal..
