Specialty Dining Reservation Times?

We are new to Silversea and I am making some specialty dining reservations. The times given are 7-8, 8-9 and 9-10. I'm not sure what that means. Does 7-8 mean you can arrive anytime during that hour? I'm sure it doesn't mean you only have an hour to eat. I would appreciate an explanation so can try to make some good choices. Thanks!

Yes your assumption is correct. That will be the arrival time. Stay as long as you like. Have fun on your cruise.

Sorry to be so dense, but we could arrive anytime- 7:10, 7:25, 7:50- no exact assigned time during that hour?

They will hold the reservation for one hour. So when someone is still fussing with their hair and it looks like your going to be 15 minutes late. Relax and don't get mad, just tell the hostess your name and they will show you to your table. Have fun...
